Ariston Margherita 2000 - washing machine?

i'm trying to fix mine- problem with the dryer not heating up. trying to check the element out - not convinced it's working. I did note that is the temperature sensor circuit is broken the override kicks in, and the cycle will go round and round.. check the temperature sensor is a complete circuit - if not replace it.

well... I called the repair guy, i cant not have a washing machine and i have noone to look at it for me. It was a blown circuit board! had to get it replaced. Nothing i had done wrong, just bad luck. It cost NZ$264 to get it replaced including callout and labour charges. Expensive but i beleive there is nothing else you can do. Sorry to be bearer of bad news.... perhaps you still have it under warrenty or something, i was going to look into consumer guarantees act to see if i should have to pay, but i guess 3 years is pretty good service without problems. I fiddled around with it, turned it off to and put the program cycle on stop and then to drain, when it started spinning the program cycle again I stopped it, put the prog.cycle on stop and was able to open it. Please let me know if you come up with something.

i have a similar problem with mine this morning, read the manual, just says to turn it off, put it to start/reset and turn it back on, didn't work, and after a few goes i can no longer open the door, dont know if there is any water inside. How did you drain the water?? ill let you know if i can fix mine.....
