my comp keeps saying error opperating system can any one help please?

With this error, the hard drive likely has failed. You can go to: http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/download.htm#DFT and make a bootable floppy or CD and run the test. The test will advise the condition of the hard drive. If it has failed, it will need to be replaced, and the operating system and its files installed again.

It may also be that the operating system has been corrupted by virus or other means, requiring that the operating system and its files be installed again.

you mite have to re-format your whole os (depending on how old your machine is )thats to say you mite have to delete everything and re-download from a bootable cd-rom if your not sure how to do this then you ether take to a shop (depending where you live)the control panel in rutherglen are great sometimes its done while you wait or phone this guy derrick finnegan 07880878397 he comes out to you.
