my dryer has stopped turning ?

hi my dryer has stopped turning but the belt is still connected on the drum and tight ?

could be the capacitor attached to the motor faulty.this is required to start the motor turning.start the dryer going and with the lid off give the drum a helping hand to start rotating.if it works then the capacitor is at fault.BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL as mechanical and electrical parts will be exposed with lid removed.TAKE CARE
