Bonnet catch won't catch when dropped?

i have a fiesta (2004) LX and the catch to the bonnet won't close when the bonnet is dropped, it looks as though there is grease on the catch but had to push the bonnet down to close it, can you help?

You will probably find, to each side under the bonnet, some plastic stops, they turn in and out, could be they are out of position, try turning them in very slightly, bit by bit, until bonnet locks, to far in, the bonnet will rattle
