Mend Peugeot 206 Sensor Door Temperature

peugeot 206 n/s door mirror glass removal?

My outside temperature sensor seems to only read 14deg. To acess I need to remove the mirror glass. The handbook says unclip wire retaining spring, this is not there on my model nor the retaining brackets. Can anyone help?

Thanks d for the advice, but while checking through the system I disconnected the visual display unit on replugging the unit seems to be displaying correctly. Can only think this rebooted the unit. Fingers crossed once again thanks d

push mirror in as far as poss (rhs of mirror) then u will see wire clip from the other side - use long nose pliers to release one end and pull mirror off. Unfortunately the sensor is not always the culprit...usually a resistor on the temp display circuit board in the dash
