Mend Turn Ford Bought

If i let up on brake/clutch or turn PTO on tractor cuts out and dies?

Ford 09GN2152 tractor bought used. I can push down on brake/ clutch tractors starts but if i let up on brake motor dies or if i turn on PTO switch the motor dies. Help

Most likely the seat switch is faulty, making it appear that you are not on board. This will cause the engine to die if either the cutters or the clutch are engaged. It's a safety feature - replace the switch and /or check out the wiring. As a last resort, bypass the switch.
