HOW TO UNLOCK AND PUT CODE IN?

I've forgotten to say, you may have to hold the '6' preset button for up to 40 seconds, until it resets!

Remove the radio and find the serial number then post it here.

The serial number is a letter and 6 digits. E.g.: M329434.

If your serial number begins from 'M' (or 'L' or 'C'), I can easily give you the code.

If your serial number begins from 'V', you will have to contact a Ford dealer to obtain the code.

The 'LOCKED' error message means that too many invalid attempts to enter the code have been made. To activate additional 3 (or only 1 for some radios) so called 'dealer' attempts, do this easy trick:

1. Turn the radio OFF.
2. Press and hold the '6' preset button. Do not release it.
3. Turn the radio ON.
4. Continue to hold the '6' preset button until the radio stops showing 'LOCKED' message and requests the code.

If it does not help... probably this has been already done and the additional attempts have been used up - now only a professional with proper equipment can make the radio operable again.
