Mend Ford 6000 CD Car Audio Problem

Ford 6000 cd radio wont switch on?

Just bought a used Ford - had it a bout 2 weeks everything fine. Today radio switched itself off. Tried ot turn it back on again but it wil lonly light up for about 3 secs then it switches itself off again. Ajny ideas/help gratefully received.
