The on/off button of my Domotec Steam Iron, DSG 2, wont stay pushed in?

When I press the on/off button of my DSG, Domotec steam generator iron it wont stay pushed in, therefore not staying switched on. I have managed to wedge the button to keep it pressed in, up until now, to allow me to use the iron. Ive been told that Domotec are out of business and Ive no idea how to fix this problem or who I can send it to get it repaired.
