Mend Vauxhall Mavano 2000 Noise

gear box ?

I have a vauxhall mavano 2000 w 5 speed 2.5 non turbo deisal.There is a groaning/rumbling noise in second ,third and slightly fourth gear. Replaced with second hand gear box ,problem still the same ,anyone any suggestions please ?
