Mend Vauxhall Corsa C Coming Reg

Noise from Water Pump (Corsa C, 2000, SRi, 50k)?

There appears to be a noise coming from the water pump of my 2000 reg Corsa C. After reading a couple of things on the net I'm concerned it could be a bearing thats going... also it sounds pretty rough until its warmed up.

If it is the water pump get it changed ASAP, failure will destroy the engine.
