Hotpoint wma 32 door lock flashing?

My machine is a Hotpoint aquarius WMA 32 Model. The door lock light flashes on attempting to start any cycle. I have fitted a new door switch with no success. Can anyone help??

I had the same fault, it turned out to be poor solder connection on a surface mounted resistor on the control pcb.
Use a magnifying glass and check all connections for poor/cracked soldering

If it is not the door lock or the pcb module has been burnt out the it is the motor

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE SPRING WHAT NOW ANY HELP??

Have you checked the door lock catch on the door the spring may have snapped if it has its an easy repair just unscrew the door off the front of the washer then take out the six screws holding the door together split them replace the spring re-clip it together and re-assemable
