Mend Craftsman E61511 Assembly Motor Check

assembly diagram for Craftsman E61511 please?

I need to access the motor part for the Craftsman E61511 electric weedwhacker to check where there is a break in the circuit or whether it is completely dead. I am unable to remove the motor cover shell despite having removed all (7) visble retaining screws. Are there any tips, or perhaps an assembly diagram would be very helpful. Thanks
