Mend Peugeot 307 Engine Management Warning Light

51 reg 307 anti pollution fault how do i fix?

as i was drivin to london when anti pollution falt came up then engine management light poped up but goes off afer you have stoped for a while, it will go away then 10 miles later it will pop back up any idea how to fix .
