Mend Fiat Punto Front

i have fiat punto 2001 plate 12cc ?

when i put the engine on a water sound comes from the passager front side of the car last about 5minutes but goes off after a while, also my engine managment ligh has starting flashing all the time, iv taken it to a garge but they say its an electrical fault! also when i put the front wipers on the back ones also come on i would be so happy if any 1 cud help? many thanks

ive got a 54 plate and i get the water sound dont think thats anything to worry about m8 but dont no about any of the others if it starts running on two cylinders though its the ecu common fault with these from the coil pack back spiking just happened to mine
