Mend John Deere LT155 J Dies 5 S Wrong

J. Deere dies after 5 minutes running. What's wrong?

My John Deere LT155 starts good, but after 5 minutes dies and won't start. After 2hours sitting, I start it fine, but 5 minutes the same thing happens. I believe it is electrical because when I check for a spark at the sparkplug at the start it has it, but after it dies there is none. The battery measures 12.5 volts. What needs to be replaced?
