how to replace battery?

Can you please tell me if a battery needs replacing. I have a stoves newhome 1000GDL cooker and the ignition is not working. i cannot see where a battery would be inserted. please can you help?

its not a battery ,its a piezo ignition (pushing a button squeezes a crystal which releases electricity)...so you need a new piezo ignition unit (google a supplier)
