how easy is it to repair the pump and is there a standard replacement

Usually quite easy to replace a pump, sometimes just the pipe clamps, and maybe afixing bolt or two. Are you sure its the pump? I thought mine had gone, it was the wire to it that had gone, so I would recommend check the wires first, you will need a test meter
