currys logic steam iron generator-non-pressurised?

I bought this appliance 18 months ago and its the 4th one i`ve had.Every time its the same problem.The power seems to have died from the main unit.when you
press the steam button on the iron a dribble of steam comes out and you can t hear the motor forcing the steam through.i`ve followed the instructions to the letter and always use filtered water as recommended.
