peugeot partner 2004 airbag light?

same prob with berlingo so took dash out and broke bulb no more air bag light

Thanks arizona kid I did have a scan done when light first came on it said open curcuit on airbag igniter. as this prob is intermitant it points to the wiring to it but where any ideas ???? I can turn the wheel round and round loads of times and it stays off but i can drive for about a mile most times it comes on sometimes less .when i switch of and back on again it works properly again for a while!!!

Without having the airbag system diagnostic checked you are guessing on the fault you could take it to a dealership prepare for prices around £80 just for checking to see what the fault is never mind the cost of the repair. I would suggest a good auto electrician ask around at your local garages if they are any good they will know of someone or may be able to plug and diagnos the fault for you. It could be as simple as the system has a stored fault in the system that is not a permenent fault or it has been repaired and the fault code has not been erased. Had any work done just before this light started coming on?
