Hoover Performa Echo 1200, WB120 water intake floods room?
Hi,
I have a Hoover Performa Echo 1200 WB120 washmachine. I had a flood as a result of laundry I washed, so I took the top off to see what happened. An intake hose which went from the inner solenoid (there are 2) to the back of the drum above what looks like a manifold with a pump attached above left, had come free. I reconnected it, and my next wash I left the lid off. When the knob in front hits the "electric wall outlet" looking symbol between 7 and 8 on the knob, that hose burst off again from the high pressure water coming in. Looking into the manifold, it appears there is no opening to take that water in, but that is where this hose goes. What's the cause of this? There is no blockage in the manifold caused by buildup, it's just hard plastic. Why is that blocked off, and what's the solution to this problem? Thank you. Tom
