Mend Hoover Nextra 1400 Rinse Cycle Stops

Why won't my Hoover Nextra 1400 complete rinse cycle?

Washers and drains fine but when it gets to the rinse cycle it stops just after its taken in water and the dely start light flashes intermediately. Checked hose and filter and tried switching power off and on and switiching machine to drain and then spin.
