Mend Ford Galaxy Engine Still Wont

replaced both engine coils - still wont start - ford galaxy?

Ford galaxy 1999 2.3ltr
was not starting - friend replaced 1 of 2 coils - rectified & then started doing the same as before (turning over, but not catching) suggested other coil also - installed 2nd coil - no joy still
