D4D glow plug change?

Hi can you please tell me when changing the glow plugs on an Avensis D4D once you have removed the electrical connection. HOW do you remove the electric cover on the top of the glow plug. Tried turning it - tried plying it off. Nothing Cheers for any help or advice.
