first oil change. mcculloch M7053D 07 sn031309m001794?

I cannot sort out how the drive belt cover is removed
in order to acess the drain plug at the base of the engine. There is no mention of this item in my instruction book - the illustration on page 19 does not
show this cover at all, is there a revised edition ?

It may help you if you go to McCulloch web site, the order parts shows you a diagram of lawnmower Dismantled. McCulloch site not very help full it shows only one service dept in UK, this is in Bedford.
