Mend Ford Focus Car Problem

Unable to Lock car with remote control key?

I am having problem locking my ford focus car with its remote control (RC) key. However, the RC is able to open and lock the car's boot. Any help with this problem is much appreciated.

Does it try to lock ie locks then unlocks? If so it's a faulty latch (sit inside and look to see which door does not try to lock)
