in aug 08 anti pollution light came on 307 sw 2.0 hdi 136 bhp took to dealer showed 2 faults had Egr valve replaced, in jun 08 light came on this time turbo repeat signal valve postion, dealer replaced turbo with exchange unit, aug 08 same again , same fault turbo replace again with exchanged unit, mar 10 same again back to dealer turbo replaced now with brand new unit, feb 11 antipollution light back on car feels same looks like another turbo has gone, dealers dont want to know as they say it has too much oil in , no oil has been put in this vehicle since they replaced the turbo in mar 10. can anyone advise what to do ?
do you do a lot of town/stop start driving,know of some vauxhalls with particulate filters on and some of these ran cold all the time as a result the sump filled up with oil/diesel and eventually had so much in the system that the engine started running on this mix and blowing the engine to bits,some had the oil level up to the rocker box,not sure about yours but you may need to get your filter `regenerated`and refill your eyolis tank at the rear wheel and would do no harm to give the motor a good blast now and again,as for your local dealer they should know about this on your motor,not to say that this is your problem but there are lots of posts on this site regarding particulate filters
