how can i change a vectra engine?

Hi guys i,m looking to no if i can take my 99 2litre petrol vectra engine out the bonnet or does it have to come out from under the vehicle ...all info would b a help thanks ...

easier out bonnet way with gearbox attached jack car up front wheels off (car secure on axle stands lol) drop bottom ball joints shafts out of gearbox rad out etc disconnect all wiring exhaust manifold linkages fuel lines disconnect power steering pump then will lift out take box off swap to new engine (check clutch ) then reverse fit
