OK, these are 12 volt negative earth with brush type alternator, a regulator and rectifier. could be a number of things but without a multi-meter they will be difficult to test. assuming you've got a good battery, what you can do is check the condition of the alternator brushes and slip rings.remove the circular inspection cover from the lefthand engine case to access the stator, here you'll find the brush holder which can be removed by undoing five screws,(there are two other screws but they hold a metal plate) to inspect the brushes which should not be less than 7mm long with square ends, the ends can be cleaned up with fine emery paper or file not taking too much off though. You will see the two copper coloured slip rings through the gaps in the stator, these can be cleaned up with very fine electrical contact cleaning paper. Might be worth checking the leads from the bushes to the multi-pin connector, think there's 6 blades in these. If you can test by multi-meter, post on here again & i'll go through the charging system check.
