Car immobiliser alarm problem?

i have a x reg 1.6 zetec s i put a new engine in the car a 1.6 focus zetec s engine now the car wont start... does anyone no how to reset the emnobliser please??

I have a Rav 4 and the key fob suddenly stopped working. On changing the battery I now know the fob is functioning as the light comes on when buttons are pressed but it is still not unlocking my car doors or the key won't start the engine. Is this a problem with the immobilizer? How do I get this fixed?

Hello hope someone can help! I have a clio 1.2 grande, 3 door, x reg clio. The engine will not start due to the immboliser. I was told by Renault, that if water had leaked through the aerial then I would need new transponder. I have taken the roof light beneath the aerial out and there is just a wire with a small clip, that conects to the light. I don't know what a transponder looks like or where it is in mycar? Is there anything we can try before i take it to a dealer? thanks!

if I have two keys on the key ring when I try to start the car can this cause problems

try using your remote immediatly after connecting battery.worked for me.

Unless you have stolen this car, simply using your key or fob should clear this fault.
