peugeot 100 engine dies when indicators are used?

We have had a speedfight for 2 years second owners and it has been fine until we took it into bike shop and they had to take immob off since then we have had nothing but trouble!
It starts fine with some help then when you want to use indicators it struggles and dies, it then will not start for some time.
I have stripped it down which i dont mind doing cannot see any wireing probs claened carb,cleaned fuel tank, charged batterie am now at a loss bike shop did say CDI but was wondering where is the best place to look on net or coulde i check something else first?
any help out there
