Mend Hoover Help Checked Installed

How can i fix the Spinscrub brushes on my Hoover Steam Vac?

Help, the spin brushes won't spin on my Hoover Steam Vac. I have checked that they are installed correctly and tried flipping the switch that engages them and they just won't spin!

I had the same problem. Check to make sure the lint filter is clean. If it is clean then the turbine assembly that spins the brushes has a frozen bearing. The nozzle and front cover have to be removed to get to the turbine to remove it for disassembly. Let the bearings soak with some oil and try turning it. It might take a while for the bearing to soak up the oil.
