Mend Karcher K2.94 Pressure Starts Cold

Why does my Karcher K2.94 pressure washer only starts when cold?

It starts every time cold.But after running it will not.If I leave it for an hour or so,it will run again & keep going till I stop,then it needs its hours "rest".There is no mention in the instructions about a thermal switch,but I suspect it has (a faulty) one.

It sounds like there are pressure built up in the system. try squeezing the trigger while you try to start the engine.
