please please help fix my ds lite?

Hi,

I bought a new case for my little girl's ds lite as the old one had started to crack and the hinge had gone.

I went through all instructions to change the casing and it all fitted back together nicely with a different colour casing however the touch screen no longer worked... I then found that there were two cables that attach to the touch screen - the fatter one i disconnected and reconnected - worked fine - the smaller one, when attempting to prise it loose the little black head came off completely.

The small ribbon cable is now loose (the once that connects near the microphone) and I cannot get the tiny black head piece to stay back on.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
