if your washing machine is not marked blue for cold feed , and red for hot feed , put the one from the (cold mains pipe) the blue one , on any one of the two ports at the back of the machine, then turn the water on" now start the the wash" if you have the hose into the right port the water will start to fill the draw" if you look at the dail. A and B are (only ) for pre heated water , the hot feed RED hose, so the machine will not fill in A and B, if you have the cold feed going into the hot inlet, but will start in C" as the temp is 95 deg, for the hot wash" going in ,, only then will the machine start in A and B , or 1 2 mode, i would work with the cold hose first, and put it into the inlet on the left side first and test it, by starting the wash, and if the machine starts to fill in C or 3 then its ok , but there should be a small blue dot, on the cold inlet and a small red dot marked on the hot inlet . you wont do any harm to the machine, if you have them the wrong way around, just the machine will not start to fill in A or B or 1 or 2 mode of the pre heated 95 deg water is not comming into the hot inlet.
