Mend Minivator Simplicity+ Stairlift Not Working

stairlift not working?

hiya, i have a minivator stairlift that is working fine with the 2 fixed handsets on the wall at the bottom and top of the stairs, but not by the handset on the chair itself. power is getting to the chairs controls but nothing is happening.any help or manual would be appreciated
