Mend Small Kitchen Work

Small burn damage to laminated kitchen work surface?

A tea towel caught fire as it was left close to the hob rings, quickly removed, but has left two small burns marks. One is just discoloured, the other has breached the laminated surface. Both are about the size of a penny. Any help would be appreciated.

Try checking house contents insurance it may be covered for replacement.

Or if a short length check with local worktop store for matching or near matching off cut. I did and got offcut piece half metre longer than needed for quarter of price normally charged for a cut from a 3mt length.
