A small section of our solid wood kitchen worktop stationed between a tiled wall and a Belfast sink has warped (due to improper oiling resulting in moisture absorption)...
The warp is not severe but has now wedged itself between the tiled wall, sink and cabinetry so cannot easily be removed.
Is there any way to correct the warp without removing the worktop?
I have now corrected the warp in the worktop by regularly applying generous quantities of oil to the upper surface, two to three times a day. I also positioned two 'chemical' de-humidifiers (£1.99 each) in the cabinet directly beneath the worktop helping to draw moisture out through the lower surface. It worked within 8-9 days.
