my cbr600f2 is turning over but wont fire up. had a couple of BIG backfires from it then battery ran flat. Im thinking it could be spark plugs, just charging battery then going to try some easy start in airbox. what do you think.
I had a similar problem with getting my cbr 600 to run after It had been parked up for a while. ( plenty of backfires etc) I found best option to be - hook a charged car battery to bike via jump leads this gives a much stronger/faster crank and the battery lasts 10 times longer.

yes mate drain all the carbs off by undoing the drain screws on each of the carbs and then put a new set of plugs in it and i would say its 99% that it will be fine,good luck with that.
