Mend Car Noise Drive

i have a problem with my car?

my van is making a harsh noise when i rev it up or when i drive? also the gauge temp is at 100 degrees when its normally at 70, whats the problem?

Could be water pump [headgasket if water level goes down and more dripping moisture from end of exhaust] based on old vehicles i've had. Also you've got your question in caravans and motor homes section car/vans further along catagory line.,
