Rear off side wheel jammed?

Rear off side wheel is jammed when going forward but not when reversing? Its a Renault Kangoo 04.

hit the drum hard with a heavy hammer this should free it if the hand was pulled when it was left up over night or frozen

take your drum off sounds like 1 of retaining springs snapped holding brake shoes
