My problem is the opposite to most on this page. The radiators are constantly very hot even when I remove the Thermostat Housing. The pin can be moved freely. Is the problem with the capsule or the thermostat housing?
When I say the radiator is always hot, even when the TRV is turned off, I mean the TRV is stuck in the open position. Because it is in open position permanently I am afraid to undo the brass nut to investigate in case a lot of water leaks.

the problem is you rads are either hot or cold there is no inbetween the trv only shuts the rad on or off it doesn't control the water temperature you can turn the boiler stat down to minimum but this is not the best or most efficient way to run the boiler
