Mend Vauxhall Vectra Heater Blows Air Fan

vauxhall vectra-heating?

The heater blows cool air only. Engine temp normal, fan ops ok. How do i gain access to water temp valve and where is it? The car is on R plate. 2 litre with no a/c.
