Mend Whirlpool AMW820 Washing Machine Motor

WhirlPool AMW820 motor - How do you test if OK?

I think the motor is at fault, goes through all the cycles but the motor is not turning the drum. I've removed the motor so how do I test the motor?

Sorted, I phoned for the price of a new motor £113.76 - too much - brushes were 11.52 each, but none in stock - so took them out cleaned them, pull them out a little, reassembled - all working again. Will have to replace the brushes soon as they were the culpruit.
