Mend Scantronic 9450 Remove Tamper Light

How to remove the tamper light?

Hi There
I've just purchased my 1st property and the alarm won't set,a neighbour who looked at it for me says the tamper light is on and it may take an engineer to fix it is there any way i could do it myself.The system is a scantronic 9450 and I believe it was installed around 1970 if that helps.

Its broken.
Dont waste money trying to repair it.
Get a new one fitted, either DIY or PRO.

lol 1970 Scantronic didnt make panels in 1970, Your neighbour is a genius {Not} i think anybody with vision could tell u a light is lit or not.
Susan just call an engineer out, will cost you about £120 plus vat, If your in Kent i can help but i doubt you are.

you have three ways to go,either find the tamper fault,(could be the battery)or open the panel and short out the global tamper,or call a alarm company in,its your choice mate
