I've got this model too and suffered the same issue. Ends up if I reduce the spin speed to half way (arrow pointing down) the machine can spin the water out properly and bingo my clothes are clean again. Found that the water was collecting as it couldn't spin up properly, then it reduces it's spin and so doesn't empty out properly, then all the water sits in the machine with all the dirty water that wouldn't wash out and clothes get well dirty. Have to also clean right up the side of the seal as dirt gets trapped much higher than normal. Just reduce the spin as above and you won't have a problem - if you want to use the 1600 spin just do it after the wash on the spin only setting. Only takes 15 mins and gets loads more water out.
