Mend Mercedes-Benz Vito 108CDI Glow Plug Diesel Starting Problem

mercedes vito 108cdi 2003?

my vito starts no problem but since the cold whether although not driven the glow plug light is on. the van starts up 1st time . anyone suggest anything

Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-Benz Vito 108CDI Vehicles, Vans Glow Plug Diesel Starting Problem

if the glow plug light stays on, usually for 2 minutes, it means 1 or more has failed. these are for cold emmisions on old vitos, so wont affect starting. if you do decide to change it, get it warm first, as they do tend to snap while unscrewing.
