fridge freezer?

is the fridge light on but the compressor isn't running hence no cooling?
look at the back at the bottom on the left hand side of the compressor.is there a cream plastic box?.if there is there will be a round cap in the middle of it.prise the cap off.with a flat screwdriver turn the cam under the cap until it clicks and then switch it on and see if compressor runs.If it does you have a faulty defrost timer
