startin motor ?

liam you need to follow the live wire from your battery to the starter relay and bridge the two main terminals on it this will bypass the realy if the startr spins then the problem is the realy and if it doesnt then its the starter motor,the most common cause for the starter motor to stop working is the brushes being either stuck or worn out,to fix it you need to take the starter motor off and take it apart but its a bit tricky for a novice.its not a problem of it being jammed liam its a brush problem .

yes front and back lights work without engine on, orso i took the battrey out and charge it up full wen i push the electrick start all it dose is make a clicky sound and a little sound from the startin motor i took the startin motor off to see if it was jamed but it wasint so i put it back on, went to push the electrick start and it dint evein make a clicky sound,sometimes it clicks wen u push the button and other times it dont,it could be the wireing like you said..if the relay was broken would it still click by off chance

ok do the headlight and rear light work without the engine running ?the starter motor is prone to going wrong on rs 125's i have had a few and severla of them have had issues with the starter motor,find the starter solenoid and join the two big wire together and see if it turns over then if it does then the start button or solenoid isnt workingas it should or there is a problem with the wiring,to find the starter solenoid follow the thick red + wire from the batteryit will go to the solenoid.if the starter doent turn still then check the contact of the wire to it both ends is clean and good and if it still doent work the motor has a problem most likley to be the brushes in it.the indicator problem will more then likely be the relay its under the rear seat you need to find it and join the two wires together and see if the indys come on when you switch the switch over ,they will not flash but if they light up then it must be the relay thats the problem ,if it doesnt light up then its the switch or the wiring or bulbs.
