Creda Concept Solar Plus, model no 48317?

The control disc for large hob may have slipped off its spline and I cannot see the heat numbers turning when I operate the front control knob. I note that end panels are clipped on downwards, how do I get these off without them breaking and how then get access to control disc, thank you. Ken
